Global in scope and ranging in date from the 5th century Coptic textiles to contemporary fiber art, the Helen Louise Allen Textile Collection is home to 680 textiles from South Asia. Sherry invites colleagues and students in the South Asian Studies community to Nancy Nicholas Hall (1235B) for a viewing of some of the textiles in the collection and a conversation about how object-based learning can support research, teaching and learning in South Asia studies. No food or drink allowed.
