The Mayrent Institute for Yiddish Culture announces the release of Attractive Hebrews: The Lambert Yiddish Cylinders, 1901-1905. Produced by institute director Henry Sapoznik and Grammy award-winning Archeophone Records, Attractive Hebrews captures the music and voices of the performers who first brought Yiddish theater to America. This premier event will feature live performances of selections from the CD by Sapoznik.
