Description
Gene editing technologies are enhancing the ability to modify genomes. As nations around the world consider regulatory approaches to gene editing, the question of international harmonization of regulation arises. Gary Marchant (Arizona State) outlines models of international coordination of technology governance, addresses pros and cons of coordinating national regulatory responses, and identifies opportunities in coordinating governance approaches to three major applications of gene editing.
