Description
In Syria, a country cowed into silence and compliance for forty years, a revolution broke out in March 2011. This talk will explore how organic intellectuals inside and outside their country crafted digital and plastic arts, videos, still images and films, novels and short stories that emerged out of the revolution, insisted on its persistence as a revolution and pointed toward a future it might yet engender.
