Description
Union Council is the governing board of the Wisconsin Union. The Council is responsible for reviewing all operations in the building and keeping policies updated to assure we are meeting our patron’s needs and fostering a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment. The five Union Council subcommittees play a key role as the bodies that review policies and operations, explore potential issues and make suggestions for improvement.
The Administration subcommittee represents the administration operating areas of the Union, including Wiscard, Cashier's Office & Payroll, Fiscal Services, Human Resources, Information Systems, and Staff Education & Training. This subcommittee also deals with the Wisconsin Union operating budget, and with policy issues that arise regarding Union personnel, technology, and other appropriate administration area issues as they pertain to policies.
All meetings are open to any UW-Madison student, faculty or staff member, and alumni. We invite you to attend and have your voice heard!
