Please join us to hear former badger, Louis Holland, speak about: “Humble, Hungry, and Helpful…Being Indispensable!” This event is open to the public and a part of the WUD: Society and Politics – “Wisconsin Alumni Lecture Series” – a series which invites successful alumni to speak about their professional journey to the leaders of tomorrow.Louis Holland is an Alum of UW-Madison and graduated with a degree in Economics in 1986. While at UW-Madison Mr. Holland played varsity football for four years, as his father did before him as well. Throughout Lou Holland’s professional career he has held many different positions and worked for a number of companies: John Nuveen and Co, Inc. - 1986-1991, Oppenheimer Capital - 1991-1993, John Hancock Mutual Funds - 1993-2000, Nuveen Investments - 2000-2008, and Cumota LLC - 2008-present.Currently, Louis is the President and CFO of Cumota LLC, an angel/private investment business that owns businesses in clean technology space, internet space, restaurants, retail, and real estate.
