As the vice president of science at the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters (WASAL), Burgess will introduce WASAL and its history, mission, goals, and key activities. He strongly believes that our quality of life is enhanced by access to, knowledge of, and exposure to the beauty of science, arts, and letters and the availability of clean air, clean water, and natural spaces. WASAL is especially interested in the activities at the interfaces of science and arts and letters.
