What Graduate Students Need to Know About Successful Negotiation

We negotiate all of the time: with our advisors, bosses, co-workers and even significant others and friends. Negotiation occurs whenever two or more people want different things and hope to come to agreement. This workshop, facilitated by Joanne Lipo Zovic, UW-Milwaukee Lecturer and Marquette Law School Adjunct Professor, is designed to demystify negotiation and help participants incorporate a structured preparation process to foster better communication and ultimately better outcomes.
