Turbulence is a key concept for understanding much of the world around us, from the sugar in your tea to the atmospheres of stars. Prof. Alex Lazarian (UW-Madison Astronomy Dept.) will discuss how the physics of turbulence helps us understand many processes we see happening in the universe.
