Pisanki: Ukrainian Egg Dyeing

Join us for a workshop with Madison-based artist Jaroslava Sobiskova in learning the Ukrainian tradition of Pisanki! Pisanki are created by drawing on an egg shell covered with a layer of wax, or alternately drawing designs with wax on bare egg. The egg is then submerged into a dye to create colorful designs.We hope to see you there!
