Description
In his more than fifty-year career, Woodstock veteran Arlo Guthrie has established a legacy as one of the world's most esteemed folk singers. Like his father, Woody Guthrie, he is known for his songs of protest against social injustice. From "Alice's Restaurant Massacree" to "Massachusetts," Guthrie's powerful, and sometimes satirical, writing has inspired fans across America and elsewhere. With almost 30 albums and countless performances, Arlo Guthrie is gifted, iconic, and anything but typical. Of his recent performances, The Independen t has said, "An hour and a half in the presence of Guthrie is like receiving the most enjoyable and authoritative master class on 20th-century American Folk music one could possibly have." Arlo Guthrie’s father Woody hoped one day to have enough kids to form a family band, traveling the country and singing their songs together – Generations. The Re:Generation tour is the spirit of an American family making music together. Arlo’s children Abe and Sarah Lee will be joining their dad to present music of the Guthrie Generations.  More information about Arlo Guthrie can be found on his website. Tickets on sale now!
