206 Ingraham Hall
Join the African Studies Program for our weekly Wednesday lecture series! This week, we welcome Stephanie Selvick to analyze divergent representations of queer South African celibacies. Selvick will contend they serve as important artistic responses to the colonial legacy of radicalized sexual terror and its extension and transformation into present discourses of corrective/rape. Bring your lunch and enjoy complimentary tea and coffee from Madison’s local roaster Just Coffee.
