Description
As our society continually debates about healthcare financing, children with disabilities have remained squarely in the news, both because of their provocative stories and because of their multidimensional needs. This WN@TL will share ongoing research into the history of children with disabilities, focusing on policies as well as medical and scientific innovations. What emerges from this work is the powerful way in which these children have inspired our cultures to do more.
