Description
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization providing advocacy, education, support and public awareness. NAMI Wisconsin works with a network of 31 local affiliates throughout the state to improve the quality of life of people affected by mental illness and to promote recovery. This session will give an overview of mental illness, the work that NAMI does, and how people can most effectively get involved with the organization.
