Jordan Conwell, assistant professor of sociology and educational policy studies, UW-Madison
Conwell will discuss his study about whether black and white women who have attained the same level of education have different family processes. Using data from the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study, they found significant variation in family formation and household composition between black and white mothers within education groups.
