STS + Rhetoric: Making Worlds with Fish
with Caroline Gottschalk Druschke, Ph.D., UW-Madison
Thursday, March 1, 2018
Druschke explores the intersections of science & technology studies with rhetorical studies through her ongoing work with river herring, brook trout, dams, and humans in Rhode Island & Wisconsin. Adopting an ecological orientation to rhetoric, from the inside of both science and activism, Druschke's rhetorical & biological field work encourages dynamic, fleeting, & creative trans-species alliances.
