Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership Conference on Criminal Justice Reform
Friday, April 27, 2018
How can state policymakers revise the criminal justice system so that it is more cost-efficient without damaging the safety of the community? This is the broad question that the Thompson Center seeks to answer with a two-day conference on criminal justice reform (April 26-27). This conference of policymakers and academics from both the left and the right examines prisoner re-entry, prosecutorial discretion, forfeiture, fines, and fees, with a keynote address by Grover Norquist.
