Description
Join us Saturday, March 10th for the 2018 Spring Climbing Combo Tournament! All skill levels are welcome to participate in this event. There will be two divisions - Beginner and Open - with a maximum of 20 climbers per division. Interested participants are encouraged to register at the Sett Recreation front counter. Registration will be open up until the start of the competition, though advance registration is recommended. Climbers must have a current Sett Climbing Pass (Daily pass is acceptable.) For more information, please email recreation@union.wisc.edu . Beginner Division, 1:00pm - 3:00pm Bouldering and Top Rope problems
Climbing problems range from 5.6 - 5.9 and bouldering problems from V0-V3.
Participants are required to have the appropriate rating for any portion of the competition.
Prizes 1st Place: Friction Labs Chalk Bag
2nd Place: ClimbOn Bar
3rd Place: Sublime Climbing Chalk Brush
Open Division, 3:30pm - 5:30pm Bouldering and Top Rope problems
Climbing problems range from 5.9 and up, bouldering problems range from V4 and up.
Participants are required to have the appropriate rating for any portion of the competition
Prizes 1st Place: ORGANIC Climbing Beanie
2nd Place: Keepafit Finger Exerciser
3rd Place: Tokyo Powder Climbing Chalk
Sett Climbing staff may use their discretion to move climbers to a higher or lower level if the deem appropriate.
