Phil   Yu   is the founder of the blog “Angry Asian Man”, one of the longest running, most widely-read independent blogs covering the Asian American community.  Yu   has navigated the precarious space between journalist, activist and entrepreneur to tell his own story as well as the stories of others.   Yu   intends to share his personal and professional journey of finding an Asian American identity and community in addition to lessons learned along the way. This APIDA Heritage Month event is brought to you by WUD Distinguished Lecture Series, UW-Madison APIDA, the Multicultural Student Center, and the UW-Communication Arts Department.  Please join WUD Distinguished Lecture Series for an Evening with Phil Yu on April 16th at 7:30pm. The doors of the Overture Room on the second floor of Gordon Commons will open at 7:00pm. The l ecture is open and FREE to both students and the public, and will end with a 30-minute Q&A.  Sign Language interpreting will be provided.
