Description
Ross Edwards of UW-Madison and of Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia, continues the theme of Expeditionary Science with a screening of the short documentary "Windsled". Ross will share the saga of how he and his teammates traversed the Greenland Ice Sheet in the wind-powered sled to gather data on the impacts of air pollution on the ice sheet. Ross's talk at 7:45 is preceded by Tamara Thomsen's talk at 7:00 on Using Deep Sea Robotics to Study Great Lakes Shipwrecks.
