Irioweniasi: El Hilo de la Luna (The Thread of the Moon)

This award-winning documentary highlights the voices of young Nigerian women who migrate to Europe via linked trafficking networks for the purpose of sexual exploitation. This film screening is part of a 4W Research to Practice Forum hosted by STREETS (Social Transformations to End Exploitation and Trafficking for Sex). It is held under the auspices of the UNESCO Chair on Gender, Wellbeing and a Culture of Peace at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
