Spooner Ag Research Station Demonstration Garden
Guest speakers from UW-Madison will be on site to discuss how plant breeders, chefs and local growers are collaborating to improve vegetable varieties for local markets. The research focuses on vegetable plant breeding and variety selection for organic systems in Northern Wisconsin to support local food systems. This research project includes commercially available vegetable varieties and promising new varieties from plant breeders from across the country.
