Jacob Kushner, a UW—Madison alum from LACIS and the School of Journalism and Mass Communication is a freelance journalist who reports on international issues. He writes about migration, conflict and extremism, and investigates foreign aid, corruption and extrajudicial killings in East/Central Africa and the Caribbean.
