The 50 Strong March

50 years ago, the Wisconsin Black Student Union created 13 demands addressing the discrimination they faced here on campus. Exactly 50 years later, WBSU will host a march commemorating the strike of 1969.
We are sad to announce that there will no longer be any mayoral candidates speaking at today’s march. *The University of Wisconsin – Madison and the Wisconsin Black Student Union do not endorse nor oppose any candidates.
