Cineteca Film Screening - "Senso"

Please join us on February 26th for Luchino Visconti’s “Senso" ("The Wanton Countess"). Set in late nineteenth century Venice, Visconti’s sensual melodrama tells the tale of the promiscuous Countess Serpieri who betrays her husband and country in engaging in a steamy affair with Austrian Lieutenant Franz Mahler, one of the many Austrians responsible for the occupation of Northern Italy.
