Karen Michel, a Ho-Chunk Media Professional, talks about how she got involved in journalism and the influences that shaped her career. She talks about what it was like to work in newsrooms where she was the only Native American and how those experiences, plus her Ho-Chunk values and teachings, define who she is as a manager and a leader.
