Global partnerships for local solutions: Helping Yemen’s young engineers fight COVID-19

UNDP, together with Engineers Without Borders and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will host a public webinar discussing a partnership that allowed young engineers to respond to the COVID-19 crisis in Yemen, developing machines to make hospital gowns, face shields, ventilators, and a mask-making machine with the capacity to produce 72,000 masks per day. This virtual event is free and open to the public.
