UW Law School Alumnus Ambassador John E. Lange (Ret.) will speak about COVID-19, pandemic preparedness and response, and the international legal instruments related to global health security.
Lange, a retired Foreign Service Officer who currently is Senior Fellow for Global Health Diplomacy at the United Nations Foundation, earlier served as U.S. Ambassador to Botswana and as the State Department’s Special Representative on Avian and Pandemic Influenza.
