Dr. Jiqun Liu is an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma. In this talk, he will introduce his work combining behavioral economics and cognitive psychology to model how search engine users make decisions in a context with a reference dependence effect. He will present a series of his studies with coauthors in interactive information retrieval to predict search tasks attributes and user satisfaction levels in a search session.
