From Language Students to Duolinguists

In this session, Parker Henry and Elisa Camps Troncoso, Duolingo, will explore how broad understandings of language typology, familiarity with language acquisition, and creativity in language teaching have led them to their positions at Duolingo and how language teachers can build these skills for their students. They will also address how language learners can frame relevant classroom experiences to apply for industry jobs.
