World Environment Day is the United Nations day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment.
Celebrate World Environment Day on June 3 by joining other volunteers to help care for the Lakeshore Nature Preserve. Learn about the natural world, work in a beautiful and beloved landscape, meet new people or visit with old friends, get fresh air and exercise. Activities may include removing invasive plants, maintaining trails, planting, seed collecting, or more.
