- DescriptionVisiting Speaker Tarleton Gillespie, Cornell University and Stanford University, will give a public lecture on how online content providers such as Youtube, while promising an open platform, also have to make decisions about how content is regulated (how it is organized, featured or squirreled away, and patrolled). That is, they serve as both provider and chaperone of online content. Reception beforehand at 3:30 p.m.
