Description
We are having a series of speakers coming to campus as candidates for this position. Each of their talks will focus on a topic about Hmong Americans. Dr. Chia Youyee Vang is associate professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she is founder and coordinator of the Hmong Diaspora Studies certificate program. She has conducted extensive research on the politics of U.S. refugee policies and programs and the myriad ways that refugees build communities in host societies.
