Turkey’s Path to Economic Success in the Global Crisis

Turkey, the third fastest growing economy in the world, has tripled its GDP in the last decade and lowered its Gross Debt stock to GDP to half of the EU27 average, becoming a safe haven for global investors. This talk will address how Turkey remained resilient while exposed to the fluctuations of the global financial crisis, facing perhaps the deepest global economic recession since the 1930s.
