Mutlu Ozdogan, assistant arofessor of forest ecology and environmental etudies, Nelson Institute. Timely, accurate information on crop growth at local to regional scales is of paramount importance for societal, economic, agricultural and policy considerations. Ozdogan will illuminate existing challenges for space-based monitoring of crops and present state-of-the-art methods to overcome these challenges. The goal is to improve within- and end-season crop management.
