Description
This lecture series uses extensive photographs to illustrate and explain the architecture and landscape of medieval Germany in Norther Bavaria and along the Rhine River. Highlights include the distinctive colors and stonework of German Romanesque and Gothic churches including the cathedrals of Mainz, Worms, Bamberg, and Regensburg as well as castles of the Rhine and historical towns like Rotheburg and Dinkelsbuhl.
