Description
Malin Parmar is an expert on differentiation and maturation of human pluripotent and multipotent stem cells as well as on the quickly growing field of reprogramming. Together with her lab she has shown in how human fibroblasts can be reprogrammed into neurons by expressing a few transcription factors and how functional dopamine neurons can be generated from human embryonic stem cells.
