Description
Galaxies are made of a few key components, like stars, clouds of dust and gas, dark matter, and structures like bars and spiral arms. Stephen Pardy, from the UW-Madison Astronomy Department, will tell us about how interactions between galaxies fuel their growth and discuss the technology astronomers use to simulate the evolution of galaxies.
