Dr. Elena Phipps, senior research scholar, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC.

Dr. Elena Phipps will discuss the intersections between history, technical advancements, cultural traditions and the rise of the global trade of textile dyes throughout the Americas, Asia and India from the 16th−18th centuries.
