Description
Additive manufacturing or 3-D printing technologies allow the layer-wise generation of complex 3-D components directly from CAD files. The part generation is therefore achieved without expensive form-giving tools compared to conventional manufacturing technologies such as injection molding. In order to establish these technologies for small series production, improved dimensional stability, reduced costs & increased mechanical properties together with a broader variety of materials is necessary.
