The Nelson Institute invites you to celebrate Earth Day by stopping by Rm. 122 Science Hall and have your picture taken sitting behind U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson's historic desk that the U.S. Senator used for more than 40 years! It was upon this desk that Earth Day Founder, Senator Gaylord Nelson, drafted legislation to protect the Apostle Islands, and banned DDT. Cookies will be provided and attendees will be entered to win a special gift! RSVP appreciated, but not required.
