Finn Enke draws on their graphic novel, With Finn and Wing: Growing Up Amphibious in a Nuclear Age to consider the meaning of gender in situations of high (in)security. Considering children's efforts to articulate transness prior to vocabulary alongside recent efforts to exclude trans students from public schools, Enke works the places where grammars and apparatuses appear most powerful.
