Bryan Stevenson was a young lawyer when he founded the Equal Justice Initiative, a legal practice dedicated to defending those most desperate and in need. . Here Stevenson details the legal journey of people he’s helped in his now thirty year career. The book is a call to action, true crime page-turner and critique of the American justice system. It was chosen as UW-Madison’s 2015-2016 Go Big Read. Books will be available at this location about one month before the discussion.
