Description
Join Mayrent Institute director Henry Sapoznik for a screening and discussion of East and West (Austria, 1923). Directed by Sidney M. Goldin and Ivan Abramson, and starring Molly Picon, East and West features Picon as a worldly, young American woman encountering the traditions of European shtetl life. East and West features a new soundtrack produced by Mayrent Institute director, Henry Sapoznik. Our thanks to The National Center for Jewish Film for graciously allowing us to screen this film.
