Description
A tragic suicide disrupts an insulated Japanese immigrant community in a small Kansas town. Velina Hasu Houston’s play TEA examines the lives of five different Japanese-American women who became brides of US soldiers following WWII. Amusing stories of learning to adapt to the American way of life and gut-wrenching revelations bubble to the surface.
