Meet at Frautschi Point parking lot (3034 Lake Mendota Drive). On 80 bus route.
Description
Join other volunteers to help care for the Lakeshore Nature Preserve. Winter activities include removing invasive plants, maintaining trails, collecting trash, and cleaning fire circles. Tools and gloves provided. Dress to work outdoors; we recommend waterproof/winter boots, long underwear, heavy socks, and a warm hat. Groups and minors are okay with advance notice. Canceled in case of temperatures of 10 degrees F or colder, deep snow, or other inclement weather.
