Description
Ramin Pashaie is an associate professor of electrical engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His talk will center around optogenetics, a new stimulation method that allows the activity of neurons to be modulated by light. In his presentation, he will summarize his group's recent endeavors in developing technologies for optogenetic experiments and brain-machine interface applications.
