Description
Hundreds of yards of batik yardage are currently on exhibit in the WID Image Lab. The fabric was designed, hand-printed, and dyed by Sculptor and Textile Artist Dr. Dorothy Amenuke, in Kumasi, Ghana. Dr. Amenuke’s work is exhibited and is collected internationally, most recently by the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Dr. Amenuke is a faculty member and teaches sculpture in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at KNUST, as well as conducting workshops internationally.
