Wednesday Nite @ The Lab

"Why Do We Have Two Ears?" by Prof. Tom Yin, Department of Neuroscience (replaces the talk by Maia Pujara)

Event Details

Date
Wednesday, July 20, 2016
Time
7 p.m.
Description
How does the brain integrate information from our two ears to help us localize sounds in space? Since the cochlea does not provide any information about the location of a sound source, the brain must compute the spatial location from the minute differences in the sounds to the two ears. The talk will discuss the behavioral, neurophysiological and neuroanatomical studies in Prof. Tom Yin's lab.
