Description
The Wilder Deitz Singers play muscular, female-fronted hip-hop music grounded in funk, rock and jazz traditions. The group is built around alumni from the Black Music Ensemble, a group founded and directed for thirty years by the legendary bassist and educator Richard Davis. The Singers' brand of improvisatory groove is on full display in their recent Tiny Desk audition video, available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VNHphOjhK0   This event is intended for UW-Madison students, faculty, staff, Wisconsin Union members and their guests. Anyone can become a  Wisconsin Union member .
